Graduate Project Manager - Hampshire - Contract - 6 months - £175 per day
Main Responsibilities - Additional informationOwn day-to-day project management tasks and collaborate with other teams in to ensure successfully delivery of the new services into live operation.
This will involve coordination of project materials and deliverables, the generation of schedules and reports, chairing and taking the minutes of meetings, and updating project information and scheduling as required.
Either working in a leadership capacity or as part of a team, communicate plans to Technology Transition teams and other stakeholders.
Manage project delivery risk, issue and problem resolutions on owned tasks.
Follow Project Management Method, based on PRINCE2.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience - Additional informationThis would suit someone recently graduated in a Business Administration or Technology discipline, with aspirations to develop towards a Project Management type role.
The individual must be able to demonstrate a good understanding of project management concepts, have great attention to detail, know how to take on various duties in short time, and be able to take initiative when needed.
Must have an analytical mindset, good personal organisation and strong administration skills.
Excellent verbal, oral and written communication skills and the ability to work well with both management and technical resources.
Experience with project planning tools would be an advantage (eg: MS Project, NIKU Clarity, Open Workbench, Excel spreadsheets etc.), as would be an understanding of testing and acceptance processes.
