Systems Engineer - Windows/Unix, fluent French - Asset Management
My client, a prestigious financial institution in the Asset Management industry is looking for an experienced Systems Engineer.
Job Description
My client has launched an IP migration project. Based on the IP migration scope and in respect with the security requirements of the target model (application zoning).
There is a need for a hands-on profile to assist in the documentation creation and information gathering:
- Participate actively to project coordination meetings.
- Review existing business applications architecture designs from an infrastructure and network perspective.
- Document missing business applications architecture (network flow diagrams, Firewall rules identification).
- Do the impact analysis on business applications if IPs have to migrate in the application zoning target model.
- Do the gap analysis between the current business application design and application zoning target model.
- Coordinate, follow and support the implementation plan (out of business hours executions).
- Good knowledge of MS Visio to document architecture designs.
- Can do & hands-on attitude.
Required Experience/Skills:
Language Capability
- Fluency in French is mandatory.
- A minimum of 3 years of IT infrastructure delivery technology.
- 3+ years of general IT knowledge and integration implementation projects coordination.
IT Generalist with architecture and documentation skills:
- Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, VMWare ESX.
- Sun Solaris 10, Solaris zones (virtualisation).
- Sybase 15, Oracle 10g, MS SQL (2005, 2008).
- IBM WebSphere Application Server and IBM HTTP Server.
- ETL (AbInito, Datastage PX).
- Firewall, DMZ, Big-IP F5, network, protocols, ACE, Security.
- Citrix PS4, XenApp.
- Fluent in French and English, excellent interpersonal skills.
