Description:
The Senior Software Engineer is an expert in Forms and Reports, PL/SQL, database design/data modelling, working knowledge of Pervasive (or another ETL tool), Linux/Unix Scripting, APEX, and the entire software development life cycle. Responsible for designing and developing new applications or major enhancements and fixes to existing applications. Acts as a technical expert, addressing problems of system integration, compatibility, and data integrity. Responsible for analysing and troubleshooting complex issues and implementing solutions. Provides recommendations for application and system improvements. Has a strong software development knowledge using a variety of Oracle technologies including PL/SQL, Forms, Reports, and Apex. Works with peers and Senior Business Analyst to create project specifications and determine implementation strategy and details. Exposure to a variety of project methodologies including Scrum, Agile, Waterfall and ad-hoc methods. He/she reports directly to the Applications Architect or Manager, Applications Architect.
