Description
This is a 6 month contract position in Tampa, FL.Respsponsibilities:
- Provide 2nd level support for company's applications.
- Creation and tracking of trouble tickets and resolution of escalated support incidents.
- Answer technical support queries and implement fixes for application problems.
- Control production by monitoring system processes, working to resolve system issues.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in providing applications technical support
- 2+ years of experience working in a Unix environment
- Understanding of Oracle and SQL structures
- Working knowledge of relational database environments, utilities and SQL
- Willingness to work nights and/or weekends when required to address outstanding critical problems
