Senior Network Engineer - Business Continuity Planning Specialist, Francophone

Daily, we manage the whole infrastructure of the EC day to day operations, design, construction, testing equipment, releases and configurations. Our team comprises over 30 people working permanently onsite.

You will ultimately be responsible for the Business Continuity Planning escalation process: you act as a liaison between the technical/operational team and the client. You ensure continuous improvement of the BCP process and develop multiple business continuity plans for different services we offer. You manage risks and review processes and documentation following Disaster Recovery Plan tests (which you plan and lead).

Environment: Local Area Network is spread over 80 buildings in Brussels and Luxembourg WAN connections between buildings, dynamic routing and VPN for connecting to other providers. Multi-layered infrastructure of Firewalls and VPN from different providers. Proxies and reverse proxies for incoming/outgoing accesses. DNS infrastructure and authentication Servers.

Technical knowledge: MPLS technology, routing protocols, Cisco Routers and LAN Switches, Cisco CSM, Internet and security services. We expect CCNA, willing to become CCNP in one year. Skills in CBCP, CBRM and/or ITIL V3 are desirable.

Although training will be given, skills in Business Continuity Management are desirable, as well as some knowledge of Disaster Recovery Management.

Location: working in Luxembourg with up to two days a week in Brussels.

Shift work: shifts are between seven in the morning and seven at night (8 hour working days). Occasional interventions outside of these times might be requested.
