Description
UNIX/Linux Engineer required in Eindhoven for a global, market leader to be responsible for management, maintenance and support on Cadappl, LSF (Load Sharing Facilities) and Central license server environment. This is initially a 6 month contract and mission critical.
Essential Requirements
- 3+ years experience as a UNIX Engineer and knowledge of Cadappl, LSF (Load Sharing Facilities) and Central License Servers (flexlm and non-flexlm)
- Willingness to participate in the 7x24 standby duties
Desirable Requirements
- Basic knowledge of ITIL
- Communicative and pro-active personality with a strong gets it done mentality
- Ability to differentiate urgent matters from the not-so-urgent matters
- Firmness, Decisiveness, Security awareness, accuracy, precise, analytical, service minded and practical.
- Good customer focus and customer facing skills.
The hourly rate is €40-48 and requires the UNIX Engineer to start from the 1st January, 2013. If you are interested in this contract, please respond ASAP as this is an URGENT requirement.
