Business & Systems Analyst - Banking/Mortgage Application Environment
This organisation is a leading company in the banking sector and part of a larger financial services group. Joining a team of 40+ in IT you will be part of a team of 6 others in the Mainframe business and systems analysis department, joining a broader team covering testing, analysis and design & development.
Due to continued demand the team is growing and an extensive number of key projects is driving 1-2 key requirements in the area of business and systems analysis.
Technical environment: Cobol/TSO/Librarian/JCL/Cics/Mortgage
The role:
- Requirements gathering, analysis & writing of specifications for new projects
- Liasing extensively with business users and writing of highly robust functional specifications for key projects.
- Run workshops with stakeholders on business and technical requirements
Your skills:
- You will have at least 4-5 years' experience with business and systems analysis of applications using in a banking environment.
- ]You will have outstanding experience in the writing of robust functional specifications which can be used by testers to write their test cases from and developers to design and develop the applications.
- You will have strong analysis skills in an IBM Mainframe environment
- You will have done projects in a banking environment.
- You will be have a very pro-active nature and will be able to work on projects independently and drive through
