Description
1 year plus contract for a .NET developer with Visual Basic, VB.NET and C# experience.
Duties include:
Software program design and development.
Convert VB6 applications to .NET applications
Development/execution of test plans, scripts, and procedures.
Training and support of system users.
Troubleshooting/resolution of operational problems and issues.
Analysis and documentation
Thorough knowledge of application development life cycle.
Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong team player that works well with others.
Experience in supporting end users with use of technology.
Experience in troubleshooting IT application problems.
Experience in VB.NET, C#.Net, VB6, ASP, HTML
Experience with MS .NET Framework, Oracle and MS SQL
Work effectively in challenging situations and under time pressure
Work independently with little direct supervision
BS Degree and 5-7 years experience required.
Local candidates preferred. Must be able to work hourly on a w-2. Email resumes.
