This is an exciting contract opportunity for a Security Design Engineer to join a very professional Team on a complex account. The post holder will be responsible for the design and implementation of Firewall systems and the associated solutions within a cutting edge' technical environment.

Responsibilities are to carry out, as required, first line fault and problem resolution and provide advice and guidance on Firewall administration and management.

Essential Skills:
- Expertise in the design, implementation and configuration of: Firewall Systems - McAfee Enterprise Firewall (Sidewinder), Cisco ASA and Juniper Firewalls. Content scanning systems - M86 products, MIMEsweeper Network protocols/applications: DNS, SMTP, HTTP, DHCP, NTP. TCP/IP Networking Secure remote access systems.
- Good experience of Windows and UNIX operating systems.
- Strong troubleshooting/diagnostic skills of network and application faults.
- Experience of email encryption products and technologies - S/MIME, TLS, PGP Experience of VMware virtualisation.

This role requires that the successful candidate hold a current DV Security Clearance. Candidates that do not hold a valid DV Clearance must be willing to go through the required security clearance process.
