SAP HR Project Manager

Our client, a major banking group, is seeking a SAP HR Project Manager to come on board ASAP.
This role is a critical hire, based within a large scale program of work to implement SAP throughout the firm. Manage and control the delivery of projects or workstreams ensuring delivery to agreed business plans within cost, quality and timescale objectives, ensuring that the benefits identified in the business case are realised.
Responsibilities will include:
*Contribute to business study/project proposals, ensuring alignment with business strategy
*Engage with a diverse group of stakeholders to influence direction of projects to meet the project milestones.
*Use the established project methodologies to control, manage and monitor project timescales and budgets, escalating as appropriate to overcome delays, difficulties or cost over-runs
*Work closely with the Programme Leads to provide regular status reporting & recommend options for contingency plans
*Continuously monitor projects for risk issues and regulatory compliance and take appropriate steps to mitigate such risks
*Where appropriate, supervise the day-to-day activities of assigned team members
*Develop and maintain an internal network to influence and support the delivery of projects/workstreams
To be considered for this role, candidates must hold the following skills and experience:
*Proven track record of Project Management with ability to understand HR systems and supporting interfaces.
*Budgeting and forecasting skills
*Strong communication at all levels
*Ability to manage varying levels of stakeholders
*Strong and detailed knowledge of SAP HR from an implementation perspective
*Knowledge of HR processes, specifically payroll
*Both hands on and management of testing
