Financial Accounting Assistant

One of out large Pharmaceuticals clients is looking for a Financial Accounting Assistant/Senior Accounts Payable Clerk required

The position is for a Financial Accounting Assistant who will have sole responsibility for the Accounts Payable function based. The contract is open ended/ongoing and likely to be long term.

Information as follows:
Full time 5 days per week

Role will be focused on Accounts Payable
SAP experience ideal however not essential
Level would be that of a Senior Accounts Payable Clerk - need to be experienced
They will be first point of contact for all queries

Experience/Skills
*Processing supplier invoices in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with company procedures
*Proactively resolve issues and queries on the purchase ledger
*Provide support and absence cover for Pricing and Rebates Executive in relation to pricing master data
*Compliance with company procedures and authorisation limits
*Other ad hoc tasks as required incl. filing
*Good general level of education including basic competencies in accountancy and mathematical skills eg percentages, VAT calculations
*Previous purchase ledger experience essential
*Knowledge and experience of MS Office software applications - Excel (essential), Word (essential), Outlook (essential)
*Ideally experienced using SAP
*Superb communication skills,
*Sound analytical skills
*Knowledge of administrative procedures
