Senior Mechanical Design Engineer is required to join a global telecoms vendor at their Engineering Centre in Sweden on a contract basis. The Engineering Centre drives prestudies on product development projects.Role Responsibilities:
The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to our Engineering will contribute to the planning and design of the build-up of future RF concepts. The work will be done in very close cooperation with system design teams in Sweden and China.
Qualifications Required
* Extensive experience in mechanical design of radio concepts and RF products. i.e. RFU`s, TRU`s and RRU`s
* Mechanical design experience of products with the high quality and the performance normally related to Radio products. Products that must also achieve low cost and high reliability and that are aimed for a high volume production.
* A deep knowledge of the die-casting process, of extruded/machined products and an understanding of the complexity of cooling and of EMC
* Eexperiences of the `platform, concept & product portfolio` discussions that take place during the initial phases of a product lifecycle will be advantageous.
Education:
* Bachelor Degree, Masters in mechanical engineering or equivalent background

* You will need to have a strong focus and interest for development and to share experiences with others in the team and have a proven capability to pursue creative solutions.
* Prior experience from international and multicultural work is preferred
