Consultant/Learning advisor, inzet 100% The provision of advice, assistance and leadership in any area associated with the procurement, provision, delivery, maintenance or effective use SAP and its environments. The type of consultancy can deal with one specific aspect of IS or it can be wide ranging and address many aspects or it can be of a strategic nature. Purpose The Learning Design & Development (D&D) team formed in as a part of E&P Learning. At that time, the team worked on a relatively small number of projects in collaboration with individual contractors. In , the D&D team moved to my client's Learning and the workload grew to approximately 100 projects and a budget of $7mln per year. Now, as part of P&T Learning & OE, the D&D team works with three global suppliers and a budget of approximately $18mln to deliver more than 300 projects and per year. As a result of the significant increase in the number of projects and the higher level of complexity in managing multiple stakeholders, global suppliers, and a considerably higher budget, the D&D team needs to upgrade the skill set of its Learning Advisors and adjust the roles to meet the needs of this new reality. This means shifting the skills required from performing detailed end-to-end design and development activities to a greater focus on the activities of business partnering and stakeholder, supplier, project, and budget management.

Accountabilities:
Develop and maintain strong business focused relationships with stakeholders
Collaborate with, and often challenge, others to ensure the full spectrum of learning options are applied, seeking opportunities for more informal/non-programmatic learning solutions (on the job, blended, coaching/mentoring, classroom, networks)
Influencing immediate shift from building to buying learning solutions
Liaise between Learning Managers/Advisors and suppliers within assigned Learning portfolio(s) with emphasis on ensuring delivery of quality, innovative, fit-for-purpose solutions on time/budget
Provide accurate budget and status reports to all stakeholders
Support efforts to build Blended Learning capability across my client's  using formal and informal channels (established courses, webinars, WIKI, SharePoint, ad-hoc workshops, etc.) in support of the Global Learning Strategy
Collaborate with universities, corporations and organizations to identify and implement existing industry best practices and to formulate views on strategic future opportunities in learning
Actively participate in a variety of senior stakeholder LT meetings

Dimensions:
Manage a D&D budget of up to $5mln per year
Ensure delivery of up to 100 projects per year
Support stakeholders from multiple businesses/functions Possible next roles: Learning Manager, Learning Advisor in different, more complex portfolio or HR generalist in different, more complex area of focus.

Shifting role from specialized learning designers to experienced learning specialists/professionals leveraging the expertise of global suppliers to quality, innovative, fit-for-purpose solutions on time/budget
Stakeholder recognition of D&D team value add as a trusted advisor and business partner
Managing conflict can come from balancing the needs of the businesses/functions with my client's  learning strategy
Increasing internal stakeholder satisfaction
Accurate budget/project forecasting, planning, management and reporting
Influencing shift from building to buying learning solutions
Improving D&D efficiency
Building Blended Learning capability across my client
Leverage global suppliers beyond project delivery to maximize future strategic value for my client

Experience and Qualifications:
A proactive business partner
Proven ability to build/manage multiple complex stakeholders relationships
Strong supplier, budget, project, and program management skills
Excellent interpersonal, influencing, negotiating, and cross cultural communications skills (written/oral)
A conceptual thinking business partner with a big curiosity/enthusiasm for innovative learning opportunities
Passion for transfer of knowledge and experiences
Extensive internal and external networks
Highly effective virtual team worker
Learning & Development experience with formal and informal channels (established courses, ad-hoc workshops, webinars, lunch & learns, WIKI, etc)
