Summary:
We have an immediate opening for a System Administrator in Norcross. As the Systems Administrator you will be primarily responsible for the support of the production hosting environment. This is a 50/50 hands-on/hands-off role where you will be taking care of the hosting facility and services. Responsibilities:

  • Completion of production helpdesk tasks and projects for the production SaaS environment.
  • These responsibilities include:Microsoft IIS Web Server configuration for customer roll-outs
  • Digital Certificate installation
  • DNS registration and configuration
  • VMware server deployments, template creation, cloning
  • Data backups
  • Configure system resource monitoring with SNMP/WMI tools
  • Adhere to all Change Management policies and procedures.
  • Produce knowledgebase articles for commonly requested information or performed tasks.
  • Generate weekly project status and Production helpdesk reports.
  • Rotating on-call responsibility.

Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Computer Science or similar technical discipline
  • Exposure to Microsoft IIS web server administration.
  • 7-10 years overall experience
  • 4 years' experience managing team of 2-3+, Team Lead experience is fine
  • VMware- years. 4 years
  • Cisco Networking 3 years
  • EMC San Storage 2 years
  • Disaster Recovery Planning 2 years
  • Putting together the plan and implementing & researching solutions
  • Experience in a SaaS environment
  • Powershell or Unix Shell Scripting.
  • Security experience- heading to be PCI certified
  • Client interfacing; Fire in the belly - assertive, hard worker, drive, etc.
  • Certs- All the above for infrastructure certs is a plus (MCITP, MCSE, or VCP certification)
  • Preferred Skills: Linux, Windows- .NET development shop, F5 Loadbalancers
  • Basic understanding of Layer 2/3 networking.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
