Ihre Aufgaben:
- Plan/design and manage Data moves (Storage & Backup) which belongs to Data Center moves or moves due to infrastructure change
- Project and architecture lead for Storage and Backup Projects
- Act as Storage and Backup Solution Architect
- Work together with solution architects to design new backup and storage environments according to customer requirements, standards and best practice
- Provide technical consulting to the solution architects or the customers concerning data backup and archiving
- Responsible for Storage and Backup Engineering and design
- Take over ITSM ownership (e.g. Change Manager, Domain Process Lead)
- Fulfill role of team coordinator, subteam lead
Ihre Qualifikation
- Advanced Data Center Operations knowledge: Understand concept and cross function (Server-, Storage-, Network-, ...) of Datacenter Operations in a leverage customer environment
- Deep Backup Skills as HP Data Protector Expert and Deep Storage skills as Brocade and EVA Expert which includes:
- Experience in DP cell server installation and configuration on HP-UX, Windows, Linux
- Ability to design and implement DP backup and Brocade SAN and EVA environments
- Environment Documentation
- Capacity Management
- Working knowledge of DP application integration (Oracle, Exchange, MS SQL, SAP)
- Troubleshooting, Performance analysis and improvements
- Understanding of licence model
- Understanding of VMWare backup concept into DP and Storage infrastructure
- Ability to configure disk and tape devices in DP
- Ability to configure VTL to use with different backup servers
- Good knowledge of tape drive technology
- Troubleshooting skills in above mentioned technologies
