Research and Development Technician (CNC/Machining)
* 18-25 per hour
* Initial 6 week contract - potential to be ongoing or permanent
* Based in Cambridgeshire, Peterborough, Huntingdon, Bury St Edmonds general location
THE CANDIDATE
Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications
* Experience of precision turning on manual lathes
* Experience with general purpose and fine milling both manual and CNC
Ideal Skills/Experience/Qualifications
* Experience manufacturing prototypes/experimental parts/1-offs or short runs
* Creation of innovative machining solutions
* Working with engineers to interpret design intent ahead of 2D drawings
* CADCAM programming - Ideally Solidworks or Visual Mill
* Sheet metal work, bench work, assembly of machinery or prototypes
