NRL Opportunity: Project Engineer, Montrose.Our client currently has an urgent requirement for a Project Engineer to be based on site in Montrose on a 6 month Contract.
Experience
* Significant experience of managing and executing multi disciplined engineering projects in a chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
* Experience of producing technical specifications for mechanical and piping equipment from third party suppliers
* Track record in managing multi-disciplined site construction, installation, testing, commissioning and validation of projects
* Experience of estimating and cost control of engineering projects
* Experience of producing regular progress and project financial reports
Key Competencies
* Sound track record in the management and delivery of engineering projects
* Ability to organise and communicate with multi-disciplined teams
* Understanding of the management of Project Engineering issues and effective use of relevant tools and techniques for EPC delivery
* Ability to evaluate technical and contractual information and deliver the same
* Knowledge of key project management procedures and documents including HSEQ management systems and cost control systems
* Ability to communicate at all levels including with senior customer contacts
* Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary delivery team.
Qualifications
* Minimum Qualifications HNC / HND in Mechanical Engineering
* Preferred Qualifications B Eng in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
