Mechanical Design Engineer- Inventor West MidlandsAmoria Bond is currently searching for a Mechanical Design Engineer for a 9 month contract based in the West Midlands.
The successful mechanical design engineer will be proficient with Autodesk Inventor and have experience within the water treatment industry.
Additionally, the successful mechanical design engineer will be responsible for design integrity, cost, scheduling and manufacturability requirements as it pertains to the product.
Skills Required
-Creating site layouts & equipment general assemblys (3D Inventor).
-Preparing and updating layouts, detailed drawings, calculations, specifications, and documenting instructions necessary for project success
-Attend project meetings both internally & with clients.
-Perform project engineer/management tasks.
-Assess civilwork requirements to suit equipment.
-Perform detailed engineering calculations
-Experience with BOM
-Liaising with suppliers - obtaining quotations for equipment/services.
-Able to work with own initiative and take responsibility/ownership of workload.
