Electronic Calibration Technician

A leading designer and manufacturer of equipment for the Aerospace and Automotive industry currently require the services of experienced Calibration Technician on an initial 6 month contract.

The successful Calibration Technician will be responsible for fault finding and repair to problems in the following; Precision measuring transducer, analogue and digital electronics, relay logic and PLC logic controllers, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and electrical drives.

You will also be responsible for annual calibration of the above mentioned pieces of equipment.

Suitable candidates will be educated to minimum of HNC level and have previous experience of low frequency analogue circuits, be able to fault find and repair to component level and have experience of calibrating transducers / sensors, sensing distance, linear/ rotational speed, pressure torque and acceleration.
