Description
My client is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with Pro E experience on a long term contract and immediate start, rate is dependent on experienceKey responsibilities:
* Mechanical drawing design/development
* Prepare schematic diagrams and BoM's in liaison with Senior Engineers.
* Liaise with Electronics Designers to package PCB's into mechanical design.
* Documentation & various quality reports
Skill sets required:
* Use of PRO E Wildfire 4/5 design software
* Use of Microsoft Office
* Appreciation of make like production design
* Ability to work with limited supervision
* Self motivating and a flexible approach to working in small teams
* Good communication skills.
Experience:
* Must have some experience - Automotive is preferred.
* Very good understanding of PRO E Wildfire 4/5 design is essential.
* Experience of Catia V5 is beneficial
* Background in Mechanical Process engineering for manufacturing beneficial
* Experience of Mechanical design process would be beneficial
* Wider knowledge/interest in Automotive Systems & Engineering desirable
* Appreciation of mechanical design of Rotating Machines/Electric Motors would be desirable
* A Basic understanding of Fundamental workshop process's with a hands on experience
