DATS have an excellent opportunity to join the existing team of a large oil & gas company working on engineering projects in Aberdeen on a contract basis.

Duties
* Assure Technical Integrity of the discipline output on the contract or project
* Provide direction and guidance to the team in technical and resource related issues
* Manage the delivery of discipline deliverables for use by contract or project
* Manage the discipline resources within the project or contract to ensure delivery on time to budget
* Provide the necessary cost, planning and progress information to the contract or project
* Support the Lead or Chief Engineer in discipline engineering function activities
* Implement Company, and where applicable, Client/Project policies and procedures
* Production, Preparation, Checking and Approval of Engineering & Design documentation
* Undertake tasks on behalf of Lead Engineer as directed.
* Undertake work in accordance with relevant National & International Codes, Standards and Procedures
* Liaise with other disciplines, departments, project personnel, vendors, etc.

Background & Experience
* Minimum Degree qualified
* Preferably Chartered Engineer
* Current offshore survival/medical certification
* Use of Power System Analysis package
* Electrical Equipment for use in a Hazardous Area
* Electrical Protection
* Power Management
* LV and HV switchgear modification
* Electrical Protection & Discrimination
* Project Budget Management, Client Liaison and reporting
* Comfortable with Normal, Essential and Emergency power supply requirements
* Capable of representing Client to business associates in a professional manner
* Good interpersonal skills.
* Team player
* Computer literate in Microsoft Office Applications
* Displays confidence in own abilities and is motivated to deliver
* Ability to investigate and interpret data
* Able to keep discipline and resolve conflict
* Ability to be responsive and open to changing circumstances
* Ability to motivate and supervise other discipline personnel
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Good communication skill
