Description
As a Quality Assurance Engineer you will be responsible for:Monitoring fabrication and welding against drawings and WPS
Conduct audits to monitor compliance with company, customer and regulatory requirements
Assist supplier to improve/develop robust quality processes
Validate/sign-off inspection control plans
Coordinate successful transfer of design change/specification change information between customer/supplier
Provide training on techniques similar to Six-Sigma tools and techniques
In order to be successful in this role you will need to have the following:
Experience within welding/fabrication environment
Degree qualified or equivalent experience within Mechanical Engineering
Experience within a Quality Engineering related position
Familiarity with ISO 9001 and Quality Management Systems
Internal / External auditing experience (recognised qualification desirable)
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong analytical skills
Excellent IT skills (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
The contract is for 3 to 6 months and if you are successful there is a definite option to go permenant.
Rates are flexible dependent on experience and a quick start is essential.
