Joining a friendly, supportive team, you'll help look after our sewage treatment works, so maintaining to the highest standards for customers.You will join the E M&I team as a Mechanical Craft Technician, It's a hands-on role that will see you carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive work.
Your responsibilities will include:
-Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on sewage treatment works and associated assets
-Participation in standby rota
-Take responsibility for the effective operation of the plant and equipment.
-Fault finding and repair faults on relevant equipment.
-Be part of a team, use their skills in making local decisions and suggestions for improvement
-Be able to view failed plant and give reasons for failures
-Advise on plant that requires updating or is performing badly
Skills and Competence, you will need:
-Relevant City & Guilds qualifications
-Time served apprenticeship
-Formal electrical training (dual skilled) preferred
-Confined space's trained
-Be enthusiastic, have a good common sense and have a flexible approach
-Be able to work effectively with minimum supervision
-Valid full driving licence
-IT literate and competent
