Role Description
This role is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to looking after a variety of Civil Engineering based Highway projects. Working for a main contractor dealing with new build highway schemes NOT maintenance and minor repairs.
This role is to support a team of Quantity Surveyors providing your knowledge of dealing with the Highways agency and build-ability of a new build projects. The projects are on the NEC forms of contract and although only initially 6 months could escalate in to long term contract or a permanent position.
You need to have worked on a major highway project as part of a Senior Quantity Surveyor team or at least ran a project of at least 5million in size as the Senior Quantity Surveyor to be suitable for this position.
