Assystem are currently working with an internationally renowned major OEM based in the UK on an exciting new project.We are currently looking for a Field Quality Assurance Officer (FQA)
The position is responsible for managing the investigation of technical issues on the Clients vehicles which are reported from either the market (customer / authority / court) or from the Clients internal Design and Manufacturing areas to generate a clear understanding of the root cause and the effect on the customer.
Using this information, FQA carefully decide the best way to manage these issues to ensure that the customers are protected from any potential safety or regulation issue and also achieve the overall aim of assuring customer satisfaction.
The of the role will include;
- Support a project to provide functionality for the Client to track the delivery of letters to Vehicle Owners notifying them that their Vehicle is affected by a campaign.
- Produce requirements for a project to roll out the ability for dealers to upload a list of Vehicle Identification Numbers into a system, that will produce an output displaying which vehicles are affected by a campaign.
- Accountable for producing test plans and supporting the testing during projects.
- Responsible for the set up and facilitation of meetings to identify problems with systems.
- Able to produce user guides or quick reference slides to explain changes that projects have made to systems.
- Able to track delivery of projects and system changes.
- Flexible and willing to take on a variety of different tasks and adapts to the requirements of a changing environment.
In order to be successful in this role, you will be/have:
- Educated within a Business, Computing, IT or IS field.
- Proven experience of concern analysis and problem solving.
- Customer orientated approach and able to work autonomously with clear focus on company and departmental objectives.
- A high level of self motivation as well as the ability to motivate others, both internally and externally.
- Proven ability to operate cross-functionally at all levels.
- Strong communication and influencing skills at all levels.
- Language skills would be an advantage (European or Japanese).
- Strong skills in using the Microsoft Package.
- Demonstrates business knowledge of IT, Computing or Information Systems
- Educated to A-Level
