Mechanical Fitters RequiredLocation: Taunton (Somerset)
10.65 per hour Skilled Fitters
We are currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to work in an Assembly Environment building a range of special purpose vehicles and fitting Hydraulic components. The initial contract is 3-6 months but the company are very busy so the contract could be extended.
Key Purpose of role:
General mechanical assembly
Pipe fitting
Pneumatic and hydraulic fitting,
Basic machining
Metal cutting
Drilling
Tapping
Use of hand tools
Maintaining a safe, clean and efficient work space
Working at heights and working in confined spaces
Qualifications:
Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent training and qualifications.
Skills:
General Mechanical fitting, prefabrication, installation of Hydraulic assemblies, general mechanical fabrication, general electro - mechanical assembly, ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
