Electrical Installation Design Engineer
Contract - 6 Months minimum
Location - Derby

We are currently recruiting for a number of Electrical Installation Design Engineer to be based in Derby on a contract (minimum of 6 months)
The primary purpose of this position is to Design Electrical Installations for the Rail industry for one of the market leaders.
Electrical Installation deliverables & tasks mainly consist of (but are not limited to) the following:
- Draughting of Schematics
- Producing Harness Diagrams, Installation, assembly & details drawings;
- Producing Technical Requirement Documents & Work Packages as required;
- Liaising with other engineering functions to ensure a fully integrated, safe & compliant design
Qualifications
- Previous Electrical Design Engineering experience (at least 5 years);
- Previous knowledge/experience of rolling stock design would be ideal however aerospace or automotive candidates would be suitable
- Understanding of rolling stock wiring practices & requirements for UK over ground & LUL underground rolling stock;
- Excellent Catia / E3D / ELDA experience is essential
- Good communication, organisational and problem solving skills.
