Commercial & Partnerships Manager - Online/Mobile

Our client, a leader in Mobile Software Applications, is looking to recruit a driven, revenue focused and commercially talented individual for their Online Commercial & Partnerships Manager position.

As the Online Commercial & Partnerships Manager, you will report into the VP of Sales & Marketing, and be required to take ownership of commercial activities. Essentially, the Online Commercial & Partnerships Manager should have a proven ability generating revenue streams for mobile apps, forming and managing tangible partnerships, and setting and executing commercial sales strategies.

The role responsibilities are:

- To support the refinement and implementation of the companies overall commercial business strategy and model.
- To drive business development opportunities to deliver new growth.
- To provide day to day support with new and existing partners.
- Role is focused on business development with key internet/online retailer partnerships that align to the key segments of the companies Mobile Application proposition.
- Identification and prioritisation of these key internet / online retailers and partners - Global, with a UK and US focus initially.
- To promote and sell in the companies proposition and its value opportunity to these partners.
- To drive a commercial engagement that makes both commercial and strategic sense, putting in place the necessary agreements to meet revenue models (Should include Bounty payments, media purchases etc.).
- To develop incremental opportunities, commercial models and relationships to maximise the companies product proposition.
- To ensuring that existing partners are adhering to contractual commitments; SLAs and guidelines

Desirable attributes:

- Self starter and be both proactive and reactive in a fast changing environment.
- Strong knowledge of digital ecommerce, online retailers, mobile and apps space.
- Significant B2B sales, partnership, commercial and sales background.
- Able to set up revenue streams with key partners including advertising, bounties and media purchases.
- Previoulsy performed as a Partner Relations Manager within a partner or affiliate and/or experience in content and rights acquisition is a major plus.
- Strong relationships across key channels and ability to generate new relationships.
- Demonstrable ability setting and executing revenue strategies.
- Driven and motivated to go the extra mile.
- First class negotiation and influencing skills.

The Online Commercial & Partnerships Manager should have a wealth of knowledge in dealing with and setting up agreements with online retailers and internet advertisers. You should have a very sound understanding of the internet commercial ecosystem and strong experience of defining and executing commercial agreements with the top tier online retailers and partners.
