Mechanical Design EngineersContract or Permanent candidates considered
Experience required
Mechanical design engineers covering mechanical handling devices including and incorporating process layouts.
Producing option studies up to BoD, ability to interact with multi-tasking team to incorporate concept and detailed design and design substantiation of mechanical handling stations and or off tooling and its mechanical components.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Demonstrable with nuclear industry experience an advantage.
Mechanical piping Design Experience
Working knowledge of mechanical plant / mechanical handling devices and process layouts.
Preparation of detailed equipment specifications / proposals and BoD will be a requirement.
Production of design documents and drawings.
Good communicator.
Ability to perform general plant / mechanical performance & design calculations and substantiation to support mechanical detail designs.
CAD experience and design capability working with AUTOCAD , Unigraphics NX5, Inventor 11, and Navis works would be an advantage
HNC/HND or Degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Design package Engineering
Degree CIBSE membership/ C Eng or equivalent, possibly associate or full membership of an appropriate institute.
SC or DV Security clearance required
