Role outline:
* Responsible for the design and implementation of all aspects of an industrial process control projects power and automation design from concept through to commissioning.
* To report task status and progress to the project manager

Role deliverables:
* Client satisfaction through meeting the project deliverables accurately and within the time constraints set

Key competencies:
* Industrial process control engineering
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
* Working knowledge of industrial health and safety

Education requirements:
* HNC or higher in electrical or automation engineering
Experience requirements
* Experienced electrical/automation engineer with a working knowledge of
* Electrical power distribution systems including protection and earthling systems
* Motor control centres and Variable speed drive systems
* Industrial automation systems (PLC,SCADA and/or DCS systems)
* Industrial instrumentation, Pressure, Flow, temperature, Chemical analysis)
* Client facing aptitude

* Specification and selection of industrial instrumentation
* Production of project documentation inc:
* Control description URS level
* Electrical single line diagrams
* Electrical schedules
* Instrumentation data sheets
* Commissioning plans
* Project O&M manual
* Production of tender documentation for
* Electrical installation
* Automation services
* Instrumentation
* Motor control centres and control panels
* Plant commissioning
* Checking engineering deliverables for correctness and quality
* Completion of timesheets and expenses on a weekly basis
