Quality Engineer 3 Month Contract North WestAmoria Bond is urgently looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to join one of our key clients based in the North West. Our client, an established Aerospace business is offering an initial 3 month contract to support the team working on one of their newest projects.
Based on site in the North West you will be involved with the NPI process and dealing with a number of the businesses key suppliers. This role demands a pragmatic and self motivated individual that can come in and emphasize natural engineering ability, remaining focused on the task in hand.
The successful Quality Engineer will be required to emphasize knowledge of FAI reporting and an ability to read specific engineering drawings. They will be reporting directly to the Quality Manager.
Responsibilities
As the successful Quality Engineer you will be responsible for a specific area of a current project and will report to the Quality Manager. You will be responsible for:
- Responsible for NPI development
- Responsible for Supplier Liaison & Development
- Responsible for understanding and creating FAI reports
- Involved in both internal and external quality liaison
- SPC knowledge
- Good understanding of AS9102 standards
Requirements
- Aerospace experience
- 5 years+ on AS quality standards
- Strong understanding of supplier development
- Experience with NPI development
- Pro active nature
- A good communicator
