CAD Application Project ManagerBristol Duration until October 2013 Pay rate 320 per day
We are looking for a contractor to support our client, a market leading aerospace company based in Bristol. Candidates should have experience of managing CAD software projects and ideally will be conversant with Catia. It is desirable that candidates will have worked for Airbus before, having an understanding of GPP and DMU toolset (Dvise, DMU Server, ProductView, etc).
Description of tasks:
* To work in-conjunction and liaise with the Backbone & CAD Harmonisation activities / projects.
* To monitor and track the progress of DMU applications developments and ensure the requirements are met.
* To identify any gaps with respects to the full suite of supported applications and the Backbone & CAD Harmonisation activities (i.e. application audit).
* To document the above audit of the applications.
* To review all supporting documentation and represent the service mangers at all key milestones throughout the full GPP project lifecycle.
* To carry out an audit of the DMU documentation and identify what document exists and where documentation is required, e.g. test plan, user, doc, installation dossier etc.
