Job Title: Project Manager OTC DerivativesLocation: Edinburgh
Job Type: Contract
Daily Rate: Up to 600/day
Modis currently have a requirement for a Project Manager within OTC Derivatives, working with a global power in Financial Services based in Central Edinburgh. The ideal candidate must have a demonstrable, commercial track record in Project Management and have a working knowledge of OTC Derivatives within Financial Services. You will be responsible for the scoping, management, governance and delivery of a variety of programmes and projects and therefore must have experience in Asset Management and be at the pinnacle of your field.
Key Skills:
- Working with project sponsors, business leads and other stakeholders to develop and maintain quality project documents.
- Applying appropriate formal project management standards to planning, progress tracking, risks and issues, and resource management
- Effectively managing project teams to ensure tasks completed within agreed timescales
- Proactively liaise to resolve or re-plan where issues arise for any tasks
- Preparing various project reports to Steering Committees and other stakeholders, including Senior Management and Executive as required
- Preparing, managing and monitoring the delivery against plan and budget to ensure progressive development and success of the project/programme
- Identifying and managing dependencies with other projects and business priorities
- Closing down projects in an orderly manner by providing early life support to business teams, creating transition plan and managing the handover from project to 'business as usual
- To maintain effective relationships across the business and engage actively with key project stakeholders
