SharePoint 2010 Support Analyst, Oxford, 5 months, per day. Our client has recently implemented SharePoint 2010 into the business and is now looking for a SharePoint Support Analyst to help leverage the functionality into existing working practices. The role will involve two main activities: understanding user needs and addressing them within the framework of the wider SharePoint policies and best practice, and coordinating the migration of content from an existing intranet into SharePoint. Our client is looking for an immediate start and the project is likely to run until the end of March 2013.

As a SharePoint Support Analyst your duties will include:

* Building and editing SharePoint sites through discussion with the relevant departments
* Coordinating meetings with existing trained users and working with staff to find better ways of displaying information and content
* Coordinating and requirement gathering for the current intranet migration

The successful SharePoint Support Analyst will need the following skills:

* Experience in SharePoint 2010
* Experience with SharePoint designer 2010
* Understand and be able to apply intranet best practice
* Build SharePoint sites from standard site lists
* Create templates based on customer requirements
* Understand web parts and web part configuration
* Design advanced workflows
* Good working knowledge of MS Office applications
* Be able to visually demonstrate ideas (any kind of diagrammatical representation)
* Understand intranet governance and strategy development
* Understand accessibility requirements and W3C WAI WCAG 2.0 guidelines

Desirable skills:
* Understanding of Databases and their construction
* Experience of content migration, preferably into SharePoint 2010
* Basic Knowledge of other Systems such as SAP, BW, Salesforce
* Basic Programming knowledge
