*** WEB CONTENT MANAGER / PUBLISHER - GLASGOW or LONDON - 3 MONTHS ***

The Communications Division is responsible for managing inSight, the Departmental Intranet. The Project Team are responsible for migrating inSight from the existing Stellent web content management to a new environment based on SharePoint 2010.

We need to supplement the Project Team with a content publisher. It is expected this will be for a maximum of three months.

Job Description/Duties
The publisher will be responsible for creating new sites, pages and architecture (based on an existing model) and migrating content from Stellent to the new platform.

In addition work with:
* The project team to manage development and administration
* Other site owners to improve layout, functionality and formatting
* Other teams within the organisation to ensure content is correct
* Monitor for excessive complexity and suggest streamlined alternatives
* Ensure workflow and tasks are working correctly
* Ongoing team research to determine what SharePoint can do
* Liaise with team regarding the migration of sites when necessary
* Identify training gaps and escalate to project manager
* Error identification - escalating to content manager if required.

Experience and Preferred skills:
* Writing, editing, and proofreading experience
* Knowledge of SharePoint
* Ability to clarify and clearly translate requests into actionable tasks
* Strong attention to detail
* Candidates working in East Kilbride should have Disclosure Scotland clearance
* Candidates working in London should have Disclosure Scotland clearance

* Subject to the relevant security clearance the successful candidate will start immediately
