Keyrus are a leading BI management company on the Belgian market, and for one of our fixed price projects, we are urgently looking for a senior Cognos developer to start next week, the 26th of November, 2012.
Right now we are looking for a Cognos Developer to join our team of 30 consultants at the client site. As the successful candidate you will be responsible for requirements gathering, development and implementation of Cognos Business Intelligence applications along with business-specific reports and dashboards. You will also be responsible for analysis and maintenance of existing reports and applications, as well as working with the other team members including the ETL team, the PMO team, and the functional team that are responsible for gathering the functional requirements. In turn, you will generate code that adheres to the quality standards expected on this project.
In order for the project to be completed successfully, applicants must have most, if not all, of the following skills and expertise:
- At least 4-5 years experience in developing reports in Cognos 8 and Cognos 10. More specifically, the experience will be in Framework Manager and Report Studio.
- 2-3 years experience in designing and developing Cubes in Cognos Transformer.
- A good background in SQL and Oracle;
- Fluent English speaker, but Dutch and/or French would be an advantage.
