Our international client is looking for a WebSphere Message Broker Developer (WMB Developer) to start working on a contract position straight away. This is a 6 month position with a world renowned client in aTAX FREE ZONE. The ideal candidate would have experience in the following and be immediately available.

Senior WebSphere consultant Job Description

- Experienced developer with strong J2EE/Java background in EAI architecture in an IBM environment.
- Works with a Java development team who are implementing integrated applications using MQ, WMB, DB2, on a J2EE compliant server (WebSphere).
- This position is responsible for providing advanced technical expertise/support within and across assigned system units/areas, usually as a member of a project team or production support team, in the analysis, design, development, and deployment of business applications.
- Must have excellent troubleshooting skills to provide technical knowledge in first-line resolution of complex to highly complex technical problems
- Can engage in clear and concise communications both verbally and in writing.
- Thorough understanding and knowledge of architecture and networks.

Desired Skills and Experience:

- 4- 6 years of IBM WebSphere MQ and Message Broker is essential
- 3 years experience working with WebSphere Application Server (WAS).
- Strong written and vebal skills

Optional skills but a plus:

- Software certification such as Sun Certified Java Programmer(SCJP) or SUN Certified Java Developer (SCJD) or MQ Java Certification
