Description
A leading aerospace company is now seeking a number of Project Engineers to support both upgrade and development of Electro/Mechanical systems. This is an opportunity to be responsible for the full life cycle of the projects, from design to manufacture and delivery.We are seeking individuals with a mix of electrical and mechanical engineering skills preferably low volume with experience of the manufacture of bespoke products. The role will involve close working with various departments including design, software and hardware development and manufacturing.
Skills and Experience:
Mechanical and Electrical Engineering background and a real passion for engineering
Practical experience in drawing and interpretation engineering drawings, specifying tolerances and materials etc
CAD Design experience (3D Packages)
Design Skills and the ability to think and conceptualise in 3D
Ability to source obsolete parts
Ability top source suppliers and communicate with outside agencies
Project engineering experience
Understanding of project planning including costing and risk
Understanding of production of supporting documentation
Efficient communication with Customers and colleagues worldwide.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines
