An exciting opportunity is on offer for an experienced Finance Manager/Shared Services Accountant to join a large engineering firm on a long term contract and become a key decision maker within a challenging environment.
You will be responsible for managing a diverse team of leaders and being the key decision maker and manager within this busy business unit.
Key responsibilities include:
*To maintain and control all aspects of the 'Networks' balance sheet
*Actively manage all areas of Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable/Cashiering and Credit Management across Critical and Mobile Assets
*Manage the 'Networks' month-end financial timetable ensuring all information and accounts are reconciled before group submission
*manage the Internal and External auditors across Critical and Mobile Assets
With 5 direct reports who each lead there own teams you will be challenged on a daily basis to keep the business unit running smoothly and efficiently meeting all deadlines.
You will also be responsible for assessing current procedures and raising suggestions for improved efficiency and productivity for all processes and procedures.
The successful candidate will either be a qualified accountant or qualified by experience with exceptional leadership skills, an analytical eye and a pro-active approach. Confident dealing with key stakeholders and having accountability for the successful running of your business unit is integral to the success of this exciting position.
Previous experience working within a Shared Service Centre environment is a must.
