*Senior Executive Assistant-4 month contract-Chester-£20 p/h*

A large financial services based in Chester require a Executive Assistant who has worked at executive level previously. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a thriving organisation for 4 months initially.

The required hours will be full time only - Core hours Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:00. (Reduced hours or variations on these hours are not able to be considered for this role unfortunately.)

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
*Provide a professional and efficient secretarial/PA service to the CEO (eg arrange meetings, travel, organise diaries, etc.)
*Present a professional image to senior people and their assistants - internally and externally
*Liaise with Executive's direct reports and their teams
*Produce and consolidate weekly and monthly reports
*Communicate effectively with people on all levels, dealing with calls and enquiries as appropriate
*Pro-actively create documents (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Visio, etc) for forthcoming meetings
*Ensures preparation and delivery of briefing papers for all relevant meetings
*Manage HR processes related to the division
*Calendarise external committee meetings, prepare papers and arrange briefings
*Receive and route all Customer and press/media enquiries
*Liaise with US for executive information
*Maintain an efficient information retrieval system, including "follow up"/bring forward
*Assist the relevant parties in the preparation of Europe Board book, and handle arrangements for all Board meetings
*Miscellaneous chief executive secretarial duties
*Preparation of agendas for off-sites, staff meetings etc

ATTRIBUTES Required:
*Previous experience/background as a Senior Executive assistant
*Computer literacy ie Word for Windows, Excel, PowerPoint and strong keyboard skills
*Ability to build relationships with Senior Management both internal and external stakeholders
*Excellent communication skills and both written and verbally
*Flexible and adaptable approach
*Independent and pro-active attitude
*Excellent attention to detail
*Ability to think outside the box
*Logical mindset with strong organisational skills - Plan ahead/forward thinker
*Ability to efficiently work under pressure and prioritise work loads
*Ability to operate in an extremely confidential environment
*Capable to work on own initiative and make decisions
*Ability to work as part of a team
*Smart, professional appearance
