Fujitsu is actively looking for a Maintenance technician Hardware and Software Installations to work in Spain - Alicante for a part of the European institutions.
Nature of the tasks
- Repair and installation of computers, laptops, teleworking equipment and peripheral devices of the Company Infrastructure.
- Repair and installation of computer accessories.
- Deployment of Windows 7 to upgrade the current Windows XP installations.
- Basic understanding of user and data migration processes.
- Implementation of software via RIS, SMS, SCCM and scripts.
- Change Management control and follow-up.
Skills/Experience
- Education in computer science or engineering.
- At least English and Spanish language (written and spoken) for internal and external communication with users and or suppliers.
- Ease of communication in technical matters.
- Time management skills.
- Special in depth knowledge of used hardware and drivers.
- Windows XP Professional and Windows 7 experience and knowledge of related technologies (Group Policies, MSI, IntelliMirror, Active Directory, USMT, on client and Windows Server site).
- Experience with SW distribution systems (SMS, SCCM, Windows Installer or equivalent).
- Knowledge of networking (TCPIP, MS -Networking, Dial -Up networking, Remote Access Server, VPN).
- Knowledge of Remedy or equivalent Change Request Management System.
- Awareness of ITIL for Service Support.
- Proven experience on similar projects.
