Description
.NET Developer - WCF.NET Developer with C# (up to 4.0), WCF, Visual Studio 2010, SQL Server 2008, Entity Framework, TFS and Agile is required to join a large multi-national Property Investment organisation based in the City of London. The .NET Developer will be responsible for developing scalable, robust bespoke .NET applications with deliver real value-add to the business.
Working as part of the core .NET development team, the successful candidate will be a logical thinker who is able to take complex functional specifications and develop high quality code and applications from them. They will have a keen interest in technology in general and will promote the use of existing and emerging technologies to add real value to the business.

Essential
o Deliver the development components of IT projects to quality, time and cost parameters
o Develop high quality code in a structured manner from functional specifications and adhering to the development standards and methodology
o Provide accurate estimation of development time and work to those agreed estimates
o In depth knowledge and technical competency in::
.NET (C#) (2.0, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0)

o Have strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders as appropriate
Highly Desirable
o iPhone / iPad development experience
o Accreditation - Microsoft (MCP / MCAD / MCSD / MCTS)
o Knowledge and experience of OO Design
o Awareness of different application architectures, patterns and best practices
o Understanding and experience of different development methodologies e.g. Agile, RUP, Waterfall.
o Experience of Test Driven Development using automated unit tests e.g. NUnit.
o Experience of setting up and configuring automated builds using NANT or Cruise Control.
