Our Client Europe's leading provider of Private Label products have a vacancy for a Project Support Engineers.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Criteria - Management of day to day shop floor activities of our contractors, ensuring conformance to all Health & Safety requirements. - Coordination of shop floor activities between production and contractors. - Coordination of the commissioning and training of new and modified equipment and systems. - Complete Site surveys to check design details are correct for the layout modification of the ACMA filling line.

Key Tasks - Acting as Responsible Person for Contractors Entry Permit system and checking of work on completion. - Issuing and controlling Permits where required for Hot Work, Cold Work, Work at Height etc. - Checking Method Statements and Risk Assessments and insuring they are adhered to. - Helping to develop and manage project timetables. - Supervising the offlading, positioning and installation of new equipment. - Supervising the modification of existing packaging and powder feed systems. - Attending daily production meetings and holding on site Toolbox briefings to contractors.

Knowledge, Experience and Work Skills Needed - Timeserved Craftsman, either Electrical or Mechanical with a broad Engineering background. - Computer literate including Microsoft Office and SAP. Able to develop PowerPoint presentations for either briefing or training of colleagues. - Ability to interpret engineering drawings, Method Statements and Risk Assessments. - Supervision of Engineers and Contractors.

Essential Aptitiudes - Innovative, logical & determined. Excellent communicator able to communicate verbally or written at all levels within the organisation. Positive, enthusiastic personality with a can do approach.
