JOB TITLE: Unix Administrator (IBM AIX)LOCATION: London
CLEARANCE: DV Cleared
RATE: Excellent Rates
THE ROLE:
The candidate will be required to administer Hardware Management Consoles (HMCs), Logical Partitions (LPARs) and virtual I/O Servers (VIOs) and build and maintenance of the AIX O/S on these partitions. Some of the work will be reactive support and will also include flexible maintenance and improving resilience.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
* AIX installation and administration
* HMC Administration
* LPAR Build and configuration
* VIO server build and configuration.
* Administration of users, file systems, backups, networking, software and hardware.
* Problem determination and resolution with the above technologies
* Any knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux would be useful
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
* IBM Certified Specialist - System Administrator
* IBM Certified Systems Expert
