Link Technologies is currently in search of a SAP Financials and Logistics Specialist for a contract opportunity in Las Vegas, NV. The administrator is responsible for interpreting, editing and customizing the Financials and Logistics needed to aid in the conversion and clean-up from Legacy systems. Will respond to questions from users throughout the company. Will also provide support and troubleshooting on the system, making changes as needed to aid in the conversion and clean-up from Legacy systems.
Responsibilities:
- Configuring changes and/or implementing new functionality/modules for the Financial and logistics application
- Perform required testing of the Financial and logistics application system changes prior to transport into production environment
- Develop and document recommended interim and final solutions for Financial and logistics business requested and system functionality
- Providing ABAP management, development and support for Financial and Logistics
- Configuring business process changes (workflow) for SAP Financial and logistics Module
- Updating appropriate system and user documentation
- Providing functionality support (how-to) to support center staff
- Providing functionality support (how-to) to end-user
- Other related activities, as required
- Developing and modifying Financial R/3 reports
- Developing and modifying Financial Business Warehouse reports
- Developing and modifying Financial Info-cubes
- Developing Business Objects Universes for the financial content
- Developing additional reports for Financials using Web Intelligence, Explorer, and Dashboards
Education/Experience:
- A bachelor's degree in Information Technology or in a related technical discipline (eg, Engineering or Science)
- 8+ years' experience working with information technology
- 3+ years hands-on experience in specializing in Financials in a medium to large scale implementation
- Additional education, particularly in database management, business, programming or IT infrastructure, is beneficial.
