Description
We have an urgent role for a Embedded 'C' Software Design Engineer starting asap for 12 months (possibly longer)Mandatory Requirements:
The candidate should be familiar with the software development life cycle and should be capable of designing software from requirements documentation and then implementing the software from the design.
Must have worked on embedded software projects.
Must be very competent using C.
Must have experience with various embedded RTOSs and understanding of RTOS constructs, (mutexes, queues, tasks, etc)
Must have an understanding of communication protocols, (MODBUS, Ethernet, RS232, EtherCAT)
Implemented a protocol on an embedded platform
Ideally:
Understand a formal design methodology.
Experience with testing.
Understanding of hardware.
