Description
Mechanical Commissioning Engineer required for a large Drilling specialist Oil and Gas company.The Mechanical Commissioning Engineer will have a min of 5 years experience working as a commissioning engineer for a drilling system company.
The Mechanical Commissioning engineer will be required to work offshore and onshore, hence must have all relevant oil and gas certificates. There is currently no set rotation for offshore work, and will be as and when required depending on the oil and gas project. You will be working with the latest softwares
The Mechanical Commissioning Engineer will also be able to do/have
- Knowledge of, and compliance with, Client Management Systems. Assurance that personnel under the Commissioning Engineers control comply with the procedures.
- Knowledge of, and compliance with, client, industry and international specifications and standards. Assurance that personnel under the Commissioning Engineers control comply with relevant documents.
- Excellent knowledge of Drilling Equipment to ensure comprehensive Commissioning Procedures is issued.
- Utilise experience in integration testing and fault finding.
- Participate in HAZIDs and HAZOPs.
Pre commissioning experience
- Perform technical review of Design drawings . Objective is to provide input and identify any changes to ensure operability and minimise time and cost. Also to comment on preferred delivery schedules.
- Review Construction plans with a view to achieving early and efficient client handover.
- Develop discipline System Boundary Drawings, Commissioning Work Orders, Plans, documentation, Input into development of multi discipline pre and dynamic commissioning Procedures and Handover documentation for early and efficient client acceptance
- Witness onshore factory acceptance tests where required.
