My client is a leading Financial company based in Dublin and they are looking for a WebSphere Application Server (WAS) Consultant and the details of the role are below:

WebSphere Application Consultant (ZOS or UNIX)

  • At least 5 years Mainframe experience working in a customer facing environment with IBM WebSphere Application Server
  • Troubleshooting/Performance Tuning/Problem Management for WebSphere Application Server and WebSphere Application Server applications
  • Build and management of WAS in a highly available environment (Parallel Sysplex) on the Mainframe platform
  • Proficient using ISPF, JCL, SDSF
  • Proficient with the Unix System Services environment
  • Proficient in data transfer (and transformation) to and from host systems.
  • Desirable: SSL, ITCAM, Datapower, REXX, WLM, SMP/E, TCP/IP
