Reporting To:* Analysis Manager / Principal and Senior Stress Engineer or their nominee
Overall Purpose of the Job:
* Work as part of a team to undertake analysis to substantiate design outputs in accordance with company procedures and working to timescales and budgets
* Undertake activities in addition to the job description as designated by line management
* Meeting objectives as designated
Job Profile:
Knowledge & Understanding
* Possess a Sound theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of stress analysis.
* Possess a good working knowledge of the main design codes & standards applicable to the RTS business.
* Capable of developing analysis techniques from first principles with guidance.
* Capable of innovative thinking when set with challenging problems and possess the ability to provide design solutions with limited guidance.
* Experienced in the use of Mathcad analysis software.
Practical Application
* Experienced in the field stress analysis and have the ability to interface readily with other disciplines.
* Make a contribution to the decision making process based on the results of their work.
* Always strives to meet the required standards and puts in extra effort when required.
* Plans and monitors own work systematically, taking corrective action on own initiative.
* Provide accurate and honest reporting on progress against set targets.

* Monitor and minimise costs of own work wherever possible.
* Understand the impact of own activity on team budgets
* Understands who the customer is and standards of service required.
* Plan and monitor key elements of own work and understands impact on the overall project.

Qualifications
Minimum of HND in Engineering with strong emphasis in the field of stress analysis.
