Mechanical Design Draughtsman ContractAldermaston, Berkshire
12-18 per hour
We're actively seeking a Mechanical Design Draughtsman to fulfil a contract with a world leading engineering company in Aldermaston, Berkshire. The role requires strong experience with machining & metal fabrication, creating mechanical drawings to high standards.
You'll be a key member of an innovative design team & the work is interesting & challenging, modifying older & designing new product.
What you'll be doing
Create 3D models based on design outlines provided by other team engineers
Create 2D detailed drawings for manufacture by sub contractors
Support the engineering change process & maintain existing parts & designs
What you need for this position
Experienced in the use of mechanical CAD software, training will be provided on company package (IDEAS)
Knowledge of machining & other fabrication methods
Demonstrate a passion for engineering
Ideally HNC / apprenticeship / degree in mechanical engineering
